    Hi everyone!

I will post pics of my tank later this evening.

I have a 5ft tank with rock structures and I have also attached a lot of Java fern to the rocks.

I have currently stocked the tank with the following:
    • 9 clown loaches
    • 2 senegal Birchir
    • 4 jumbo angels
    • 1 ghost knife fish
    • 2 talking catfish
    • 1 XL pleco
    • 1 M Albino pleco
I will be getting eventually a Fire eel.

My question is I want to get fish that grow to bigger then 10cm and are middle to top dwellers and are not going to eat my plants, as you can see most of what I have are all bottom dwellers so want to make the tank less boring and I really do not want to get small shoaling fish.

Please can you make some recommendations

I have kept Fire Eels in the past.
They don't do well with decore - they are quite clumsy and tend to knock things over

I had mine with Rays, Silver Dollars and Tinfoil Barbs

How about either festivums or electric blue acaras?

Just also keep an eye on the bioload…

@Dolphin What size do those grow to?

I was recommended by someone from a shop Red spotted deacons?

So guys I am not worried about fish that dig up plants as the plants are secured to the rock structures, the structures are also completely stable as they have been held together using marine silicone

Some of the bigger gouramis are also an option (three spot, snake skin)

Was looking at a photo of my old set up and had forgotten I had those too

    Yes definitely.

The congos, males especially are close to 10cm but not more, they are quite boisterous and hold their own. Another large tetra from the same region as the congos is Alestes (Brycinus longipinnis) but I'm not sure about plants with them. Google is your friend.
