Second Try at 2ft Planted Tank

Hi All

So trying my hand at a second planted tank, with more advanced stuff in it.

Tried using some ada powersand in the base and also tried doing a slope in the one corner.

The new tank was spurred on by me building a new cabinet for it and also just wanting a bit more high tech.

Left on my wish list for this tank is:

Anubius Nana Snow
Inline Heater
Chihiros Shade

So far the plants look a bit depressed due to the Alum Dip I did for the pest snails, but livestock are all happy.

Brilliant.. I absolutely love this tank.

I also got a new one a few months back just need to update on it.

The Anubias snow you talking about is the white one?

 

Yes the white one, and I want to replace the normal anubias whit the white ones and then get some kind of red stem plants for behind the budah, but so far life jsut works out that im broke or there is no stock.

Im open to suggestions for the red stem plants

 

I didn't know the Anubias white was available in SA. Good to know.

I'm sure the plants you can get on this forum from someone

 

Yeah usually a tub of Tissue culture is about R470 - R570 and then it has about 6 to 8 small plants in it

 

It's scarce here too but not entirely sure what I did get some at
