Lost 3 fish to sneak ich attack day.RED TAIL SHARK. BUMBLE BEE CAT and my prized favorite HI FIN PANGASIUS who would of been year and half old end of the month
mabe some one can help me where I went wrong..
    >35% water change every week
all levels are fine exept for ph about 7 but it always is where i live
no new fish added, same food as always, tank had 2 medium oscars ,2 bumble bee cats ,large pleco ,red tail and pangasius . tank:size 1.55m x80x80 hex excluding filter.
Noticed on tuesday first symptoms , did 50% water change raised temp to 29.
Wednesday removed carbon ,dosed half recomended dose of PROTOZIN as pangasius scale less and reacts bad to full dose (according to my lfs its the best ?)
    repeated thursday and friday morning.
when i got home around lunch time .disaster
what would of caused ich as all normal causes were not present or am i missing something, adding last pic of my pangasius mabe I got it wrong and it was not ich .....

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. That definately doesn't look like ich I'm afraid. I'll do some research and let you know what it may be.....just want to confirm my first thought before I voice my opinion.

Were the fish rubbing themselves against any objects (flashing)?

yup in the ( Mekong ) river they get up to 2.5 or even 3m ,bigest ive seen in captivaty is on this link.

now thats awsome, what i was striving to, but like Henk always says they are not a good idea for newbies or small aquariums ,they grow almost as fast as arowanas I guess and eat anything smaller than them ,my guy ate a 15cm bala .
