Im asking because that would give an idea of what exotic/strange fish you can consider..

order from a shop maybe, delhezi and senegal are easiest to find. I got a captive bred one from a shop and a wild caught one straight from an importer

I saw one huge one at jungle aquatics the other day but the price was too high for me it was about R500-800 too much for one knife fish

 

bgk is WAY too big for that. African knives can fit the bill, here's one of mine

 

Polys grow to about 50cm if well cared for... minimum tank size recommended is 540l...

You wouldnt be able to house one, let alone a variety for life in a 300l....

What about some puffer fish?
