Rocks in a 1 foot

    found some awesome rocks at LFS this morning decided to play around with my 1 foot.

    this is wat i came up with. interested to hear comments/suggestions

    thank you :) have a guppy in there at the momment but was thinking a few neons in a school will look awesome

    The rock placement looks good.:top:
    Maybe get a black or white background.
    Good luck with the LED light(I am currently also trying my hand at a 1 foot nano LED tank)

    that will probably give it a more classy look. will try the black background

    not too sure how the plants will perform with LED but ive gone for very low tech plants (valis and ambulia and a bit of java moss and fern in the front..) will post update

    thats the one. found it hidden under all the shelves at LFS today.. just too everything. was R35 a kg.. i thought very failry priced for such awesome rock

    Is a source of bioavailable organic carbon.

    I would suggest also adding flourish comprehensive.( It contains a rich assortment of important micro elements, trace elements and other nutrients.)
    Because the plants you have selected get their nutrients from the water.

    i was under the impression it was a fert with added CO2.. as per the LFS guy.. thanx so would i use both comprehensive and excel together?

    Yes,excel makes your plants grow faster.

    Looking good, think the rock is "dragon rock" imported by aquarium depot (I stand to be corrected on both factoids) ..see Twitter / _AquariumDepot: We also received T5 LED ...

    easy on the fertz if this a new tank .. plants and filtration typically need to adjust before they can consume all the available nutrients, take it slow no need to rush.

    I am keen to hear how the LED does in a few weeks
