Resun vs Sobo

Hey guys, need to buy a new return pump for my sump, what brand would be the better option? Resun or Sobo? thank you.

 

I've used both and found they were fairly similar - never had issues other than the Sobo blowing thanks to a surge. I guess it would come down to the size you need and the costs for the equivalent models

 

I have Sobo on all my internal filters and havent had a problem so far

My big tank I have one of the Koi pond pumps in sump but cant remember the make, will have to check but too soon to comment

My other two tanks I have a Sebo and a Boyu and no problems there either

As said, all came down to pump size at the time.

 

need 2 pumps at 4000l/h each, the sobo is cheaper, but not by much, so it comes down to quality.

 

Probably both made in the same factory in China.
