Rescaping my 5000l tank

I did a rescape on my 5000l tank and thought I would share.

 

I just had to swim in it first.

 

After the sculpting I added the coatings.

 

This is what it looks like now, I still need to add some plants and driftwood if I can get a hold of some. The angels look like babies. LOL

No, in this pic you can see them in comparison with large angels. The ones in front are some of my breeders. Keep in mind the tank is 1M from front to back.

Looks stunning...What are the full measurements? Filtration?

 

I have a DIY 210L Drum Filter on it.

 

Can we see it please. I have similar idea when i set up my 60 gallon cichlid tank

 

Its a bit hard to get in there.

 

This is the filter in my breeding room, its made with the two black containers. This works even better than the drum system. and it is easier to maintain.

 

I have been in the hobby for many years, I have bred everything I tried so far. The one species that I still want to try is Discus. But for some reason they are really hard to come by. I usually start with a bunch of small fish and grow them out before breeding them.

 

Where are you based? A few members here breed top notch stuff

 

What did you use to smear on to the styrofoam backround?

 

I am in Potchefstroom. @eros111 I used cheap Tile Cement. It gives a nice fine texture.
