    Hi Janna57

Can i be the Honest one ;)

The hard scape has some real potential. The algae not that much so you need to start making a plan or it will ruin your plants.

Some of those plants look non aquatic and would soon die. The two in the front right are amazon swords and grow quite big so you actually want to plant them in the back.

You started off not to badly, just need to tweak a little :)

    Interesting selection. :)

In the left at the back is a corn plant (non-aquatic), to the rear right is mondo grass (non-aquatic) and towards the middle and right Bacopa monierri.

Waw, in the front left corner: Marino balls (black listed) haha, wonder where they came from.

The fern towards the front right corner is also non-aquatic.

For now you can try levelling the substrate in the front and get some moss. :top:

Also, rather swap the non aquatic plants for real ones.

@gdt78: I agree with him, you have enough plants to start a proper garden. But not enough plant's to create a nice aquatic scape. My suggestion take those back were you bought them and demand proper aquatic plants, if not. I would suggest you throw CPA (Consumer Protection Act) word around, in my experience it makes them so much more cooperative. @Janna57: Other than that I like your scape, creating your own scape is like a painting no one painting is the same. :)
