Rescape and restock ideas

Hi everyone. Haven't been around in a while. Did a complete rescape on the juwel. Now for stocking.... Have lined up two ottos and three cories so far. Considering a breeding pair of rams and 4 clown loaches as I have not managed to get rid of my snail problem. Ramshorns... Alternatively a shool of harlequin rasbora and coolie loaches... Any other ideas?

What is that "rocky" stuff you have in there? Sandstone agglomerates or artificial rock?

I actually think that setup would look nice with a group of zebra angels or some silver dollars or a few tinfoil barbs.
What volume tank is it?

Nice setup!

Clown loaches will look good, and enjoy themselves in there... as well as sort out your snails.

Have you considered Congo Tetras?

I haven't kept Clowns with Congos, but in your tank that would look stunning.

 

Imo congo tetras must be in a larger tank like 3M to really look nice because they grow big. Herlequins are awesome busy fish or even neon rainbows. But fhe good old cardinal tetras would be nice if you get like 30 of them

 

Thanks Gents. Rocky stuff is plain lava rock used in filtration systems. Tank is a 180l

 

Had clowns and angels in previously. Love the little guys. Want something different for this tank.

 

What about a school of Golden Barbs and a handful of Zebra Loaches?
That way they're all of Asian origin and the yellow/orange will light up that "earthy" coloured tank 6-luv.
Ooh, and the loaches will destroy any snails ;-)

Ok so the stocking is sitting on 10 cories. Peppered x5 julii x2 and panda x3. Made sure they cannot crossbreed or hybridize before adding. 1 pure white angel. 2 otocinclus. 2 harlequin rasbora.

 

Getting rams in a week or 2. School of 6. Then considering adding more harlequins.

1 randomly acquired free homeless zebra danio
A few ramshorn snails

Plants:
4 amazons
2 giant anubia

And then a few random plants... Don't know that these are...
