Removing fish?

    Hi everyone,welcome to the new year!.I'm removing all my guppies from my 30L pond for now as I'm getting new ons which I will get in a week time..the old ons are going to my friends tank..I need advice as I wont have fish in the system for about a week..will this Impact my beneficial bacteria?will it limit the bacteria in the tank because I'll be fulling stocking it again as it was.any advice will be appreciated!

    What else is in the pond at the moment? If there isn't anything, maybe just drop a few bits of food in there to keep it all sustained, then do a small WC when the new fish arrive.

    @logz thank you for replying..I have a thin layer of gravel.a 2 month old sponge filter .some aquatic plants

    Leaving the tank unstocked for a week shouldn't impact the pond in any way.
    As suggested, you could add some food to the tank, although that will take a few days to break down.
