    Hey all

I bought two red empresses from a pet store under the advice that they could be kept together. Well they're both males and really don't like sharing a tank so the less dominant one is getting bullied quite a bit and I'd imagine isn't enjoying his life too much.

I'm not sure if the pet store will take him back and as I don't want to swop him at the store for anything else I'd rather see if anyone here is interested first. He seems to be generally healthy although his fins are starting to show some wear.

    I'm in Joburg.

I would not mind taking him. He would look good in my malawi tank as soon as its set up. Where do you stay?

Ok, so here are some pics. Excuse the quality - as if fish aren't hard enough to take, I was using my phone.

The fish in question. Still has juvenile markings if I'm not mistaken. He's about 10 - 12cm now.

When the two of them get aggressive they both go the same colour and then look like this.

Both of them together. The dominant one is at the back.

That first pic-look like the fish is enjoying your lounge - it's just floating there (as if it is inside the lounge in the air)...lol.
The flash in the glass gave it away though.
