This pair spawn today 6 September. They produce about 30 eggs. The female is a crown tail not sure what tail the male is. Perhaps a delta tail?

This picture was taken a while ago. Now he has a little more pink in his fins. Is he a delta tail? Round tail?

I will when the fry are freeswimming and big enough. I hope he does not eat the fry like other males!

thanks for confirming the tail type. What might the fry looked like? Crown tails? Deltas? Delta crown tails? Or would time tell?

@DewaldC thats the colour I hope theyll be! But i doubt it. Perhaps in later generations there will be pink but I can`t say. I removed the male this morning only see a few fry don`t know if they are hiding or if the male at them. The white round tail x red crown tail spawn has about 5 fry that are a big bigger. I will post pictures when they are 5weeks old.

There are not much fry little fry is better than no fry at all!
The surviving fry from the white round tail x red crown tail (not this spawn) start to show a bright blue.
