Does anyone know how to get plants to grow very rapidly without adding any supplements. I purchased some plants at AquaTerra (Bottelary) and was wondering if i should plant it out or leave it in the black holder with cottonwool? HELP !!

I heard about Prof. Dirks druppels, where can I get, does it work and how much does it cost?

Any ideas on a cheap DIY CO2 producer. Does the yeast&sugar mixture actually work?

Plants will not grow optimally without added fertilization - you cant plant a rosebush in beach sand and expect it to produce magnificent blooms all summer long...

Take them out of the black containers and remove ALL the rockwool from their roots - it is a major irritant to fish gills. Diy CO2 works - after a fashion - but it's messy and very hit and miss.... Look into Microbelift Bio carbon or Seachem Excell (Yes, you lot - I still use it with great sucsess... ) to provide bio availible carbon for your plants..

the Prof should PM (Private message) you withthe info you require of him when he's back online...
