    Hello,

Some random shots that were taken at night so that the fish cant hide from the camera. Ive got a real problem with dirty glass so just ignore that. Interesting to see Cardinals sleep because they lose their red, thats how I spotted a female full of eggs, sorry, no pics.

Thanks, they are beautiful! The male Australe looked much fancier before the Gardneri on the right bit off his finer fin tips. Im not even sure if the one on its rights is a Gardneri, the store had it labeled as killifish. I havent seen pics of any other Gardneri with such fine red dots, and I have yet to find a picture of a male Gardneri with 2 yellow bars at the top and 2 blue at the bottom.
I consider him aquarium strain :)

I would definately agree that you have an 'aquarium strain' Gardneri. I'm no killie expert, but to me that is definatley Gardneri, but as you point out, has some interesting colouration!

They are very attractive none the less!

    Regards
    G!

After I said I couldnt find a pic of any similar Gardneri, I did a Google search just to make sure, and found this pic on another forum: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3045/3012191616_48f7789e74.jpg
The first blue bar is non existent, almost like mine, the dots are larger though.
This is the quote that comes with the pic, "This guy is the aquarium strain of the Fundulopanchax gardneri, this is what the breeder labels it as. Although I do believe the fellow that breeds these told me that this one was a cross strain of the gardneri and nigerianus."

I think I have the final ID, the middle killi looks like the blue form (aka. aquarium strain) of Fundulopanchax Gardneri Nsukka. Here are three picks I found. The two on the left are the wild form (not blue, green) of Nsukka and right is the blue form I think I might have. Compare the 3rd pick to my middle pic at the top of the page.
