    Hi all

I am considering housing White Cloud minnows in my community tank, but I'm unsure as to their comfort and longevity with regards to the water temperature. My tank runs between 26-28deg in summer (it's warm inside the house, and I don't believe that the heater kicks in much at all) and 26deg in winter, but the ideal temperature range appears to be in the 14-22deg range. I'd rather not keep them at all if it's going to dramatically shorten their lifespan, but what has been your experience in this regard?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Higher temperatures do shorten their lifespans and they never look as good as they do at lower temperatures.

Gotcha, thanks mate, I'll sadly have to give these a miss, I could not in good conscience keep them knowing that I can't provide an optimal environment..
