Guys I have lost a lot of fish recently. 5 survived (10 gone) and is in my main Display tank. I have added a second 30L tank where I'm keeping the new arrivals that the petshop gave me as replacements. What do I do to get them ready for my main tank? I have added salt to my water so far. Can I add anti-ick and Anti fungal to the water even though they show no symptoms? Another problem is that three females are pregnant and I have the 4 babies in the tank so I dont know what is safe for the babies!

Don't add anything to them unless they show signs of illness. Keep them in quarantine for 3 weeks.

When you start going discus and fussy fish then you start pre-treating with medication

No sign of any illness so far.... I'm quite new to this and the Profesor helped save the 5 I do have left. But I'm learning new things every day. I'm doing a 30% (10L) water change tonight, and was thinking of adding some of the old water (5L or so) from my display tank WC to the guppy tank. Will this help to get them aclimatised to the display tank? The adult guppies will be going into the main display tank when quarantine is finished. The quaranteen tank is a 30L tank.

Yes.. add a little of display tank every time you do a wc. This most definitely will help long term with the acclimitization.

I see @Marco says a cup every day? What would be better? A cup everyday or lets say 5L weekly? A cup daily would be more gradual but would it really get them acclimatised? I see Marco's point in that the cup daily is more to see if there is any nasties in the display tank that the new fish don't like...

For the record I have a corner filter in my QT with wool and activated charcoal in it. I have seeded the wool with a startup kit, and there is a heater in there also 25deg. I'm adding hornwort tonight that will be dipped in a salty bleach solution to kill all nasties. Anything anyone can add that I might be doing wrong?

Just always remember that the activated carbon goes old it could be toxic to your tank. But like after 2 -3 months if I am not mistaken..

I read that also somewhere. I believe the carbon releases whatever it took out of the water when it is satisfied.

Spawn I think you are missing something.
Adding water from your display tank is not to acclimate your fish
but rather to see if there are any lurking diseases in your main tank
and then in your Q tank.

I guess you use the same source of water for your main and Q tank right?
So fish will get use to the same water parameters unless you have something
funny in your main display tank.

I also run my Q tank a little higher in temp because the disease usually shows faster
that way but you must be sure your fish can handle it.
Also keep your Q tank a little darker, no bright lights, when you get your fish
this helps so that your fish do not stress to much.

Keep the tank clean and keep a eye on them for anything funny but do not dose
    unless its really necessary.

Thanks @Vis and @Marco. My tank is darker than the main tank as I havent had time to fit a light in the hood... So I will keep it that way. I did a 30% water change tonight and cleaned the tank bottom. Also added about 2L from my main tank's WC to my QT, and added a breeding net into the QT and put the babies into this net. Also added guppie grass after I soaked them in very salt solution with a small amount of bleach. Now just have to wait and see if the other three females will become mommies soon. All the signs are there. The water source is normal tap water with dechlorinator and a teaspoon of salt. Will set my temp up a tad to maybe 27? It's now 25... Maybe do half degree a day?

Ok very important Q: When I move my guppies to the main tank, how do I go about this? Do I just scoop them up in a net and dump them in the main tank, or do I do the whole plastic bag approach? Tanks are right next to each other, and the water parameters are the same.
