    @Moolis - as discussed on the phone - i am looking for some interesting barbs for my 2.5m. I am looking for the wild form of the Puntis semifasciolatus.... I need about 30 to 40 please :tongue:

    They are ....... I wanted to say ugly and see your reaction, but I cannot:confused: They are gorgeous little fish and have a personality matching that :)

    I do not understand ?

    I Hade drapefins in stock for over 3 months and not more than 6 was sold! So there do not seem to be a market for them :(

    @Moolis, I think people are just unfamiliar with certain barbs, and therefore don't bother(very unfortunately)

    I was also very unappreciative of O. crenuchoides, until an article enlightened me to what pretty and behaviourally interesting fish these are.

    It works the same for P. semifasciolatus too IMO

    Who would venture out and Identifying all the great barbs for a community aquarium? I personally think that Barbs are more fun than most common fish available.
