Any of you out there? I just recently (Like last week) really got into fishing! Thinking about going once a month for a weekend. BajaDam is where i went last. Lekke place....besides those blady boats!
I do fishing when I get the time mostly for carp or barbel but I also do some bass and fly fishing. My biggest love is saltwater though especially deep see for stuff like marlin and tuna.
Harties and Vaaldam during the summer if you want to hook some nice big carp or barbel 15+ kg's. If you looking for some nice Fly fishing or Black Bass spots loads of places in the Drakensberg area. And if you really want a challenge go to the vaalriver for yellowfish. Bronkhorstspruit dam is also not a bad place to fish.
Yeah, but rather wait till after the first rains and when we are in mid summer then the fish spawn and at their most active. Also then the kurpers are going to go nuts nothing more fun that using a hand line and some worms to catch fish by hand.
We can go to my private fishing venue as well.Farm near Bronkhorstspruit. I dropped my son and his Girlfriend off at Roodeplaat last weekend. The did not have any luck.
Dude... you should know that a son and his girlfriend dropped off in the middle of no-where is not going to be "fishing". It's a coy!
Hehehehe.............. So i knew, but he still need to learn that a Father knows everything. I used to try this one as well and i thought i had our parents fooled. I now know better.
The only time a son realises that his father knows everything is when he moves out! Damn I thought my pops was dof all those years when I was a teenage and young adult. Then I got engaged, moved out, and shortly thereafter got married. Now my father suddenly isn't dof anymore!
I go fishing a lot, well to be honest never caught one, I'm really doing something wrong, I go fishing at a small dam near my home and well there are a lot of fish in there never seem to catch one BTW...doing bass Fishing...
