I recently purchased my tank and received numerous fish with the tank.

    In the tank Currently
    - Guppies
    - Endlers
    - Swordtails
    - Platy's
    - Mollies

And 3 types of cichlid, i have NO idea what cichlids these are, one type is silvery (10 of them) one type is Albino (3 of them) and one type is silver with black stripes. (2 of them).

All of the cichlids are juvenile(ish) ranging from 2 cm to 8 cm. You can see my problem when they grow older, they will start munching my other fish. I plan on making the tank a Amazon biotope and I really don't have the facilities to accommodate cichlids for much longer.

I attached some pix but the quality is poor, they are really pretty, I am just not a fan of cichlids.

So the deal is, if you give me a nice piece of bog-wood (or any type of wood like thing that is aquarium friendly) and a Amazon sword plant, you can take all of them. I don't know how much cichlids are worth and I don't know if the swap is ridiculous, if it is please inform me. But they are quite pretty fish.

So anyone in PTA interested in the swap? we can meet at a central place or whatever, I'm in Wonderboom South.

Like I said I have no idea what type of cichlids these are, as I have no interest in these fish. I just got them as part of the sale of the tank and I am busy with re-doing the tank and would like to do this swap asap.

    Thanks

It transpires that the 1st and last 2 pics are Rainbow cichlids, which I have come to understand is a blacklisted species. The others are Convicts and an albino variation of convicts (Albino). So as such I will close this thread. Please PM me if you have further concerns. I'm still willing to trade the convicts, please contact me as I would really like to get rid of all the cichlids in the most humane way. I don't condone killing any animal.

I'm closing this thread due to obvious reasons though.
