Had sick fish in a pond(Guppies) now im planning on getting a few small --- maybe kois.. But just intrested how and what can i use to kill any type of worm ,parasite or any living thing in the pond. Its about 1500L pond, going to remove all the water aswell and then fresh new water, so any ideas?

Easiest way to disinfect a pond is Chlorine....HTH will do... We use a big bucket on a 50 000l pond... So 2 or 3 cups of it in your pond will be more than enough...
Dont waste water - chlorinate your pond as is...just fill it RIGHT to the top. Even let some spill over and scrub the top of pond with stiff brush once the chlorine is in.
We used this method to nuke ponds that had koi infected with KHV(Koi Herpes Virus) in it..... NOTHING made it out the other side of a 24 hour treatment... Pump it dry and for extra protection, leave dry for a few days - great time to check the pond over for weak points or pond sealer lifting anyway...
Fill her up and cycle away - with no worries of nunu's surviving all of that.

Now a word on koi (which I know a thing or 10 about). In SA,a koi will easily live to be 30 years old...and grow to roughly a minimum length to bout 60 cm. My biggest girl was 1,16m and weighed roughly 12kg. Koi are very messy fish and need excellent biofiltration.
A pond of 1500l is to small to house koi in for the long term. If you buy baby koi,and beef up your filtration a bit, they should be fine in there for roughly 18 months before you need to move them to a bigger, deeper pond. Think something roughly 10 000l for 10 koi (1/1000l) aka. 5 x 2 x 1m deep.

Alternately - your current pond is perfect for some fancy Goldfish though.... or just put in lots of White Clouds and grow some of your aquarium plants in there as a vertically viewed garden.... it's amazing how well more common/easy plants do planted in pots of soil in an outdoor pond...

@mark d - Gertie grew up for 4 years in a 50 000l pond...now happily residing in one that is 250 000l and nearly 3 meter deep... Who said you gotta go Tropical to have "Monsterfish"

Its amazing,i believed they grew to about40cm,but wow that is preety big. Soooo i was thinking,guppies-goldfish, my friends dad has a smaller pond, never cleans his pond, and loads of guppies and a large goldfish in there. So i was thinking maybe a few goldfish, plants and guppies,i know goldfish are coldwater, but they survive that pond of about 26 temp. He will give me some of his guppies, much stronger strains than mine, put them in the pond, but should i leave the golfish? or get goldfish and leave the guppies? ugh

And the chloor, normal pool chloor? how big is the cap or how much ml chloor should i add to the water?
So much questions still to go,sorry.
