@Ammar, a word of advice. dont order ur frozen food now - there is a postal strike
and Dirks place is affected as well.
The SAPO said only Germiston, Tswane and JHB cental but thats a lie, Cape Town and matieland(where Dirk post from) to name a few

 

cool thanx, still waiting for Dirk to receive order from Germany. so mostly get flakes for now,.. i might be using a road transport company for that...

 

Ag no man, please tell me your'e joking about the Cape Town strike.
I've ordered a book from Jhb and the guy told me he could try to get them to cape town and post from there.

 

Welcome, Dirks next order only goes out at end of March and he does so every 3-4 months
but I am not aware if his short on any supply but sure you can ask him or it should be indicated on the spreadsheet

LOL hijack all you want it is afterall about imforming each other.

I received Profs latest list and quantitites available he is quiet short at the momment. he is extremely busy at the momment planning some conference. i will update as soon as i know. as far as i know he did say his next order is due end of march

 

It is very bad netiquette to post someones email address in an open forum

 

Im assuming @BBQ has a good relationship with the prof, maybe Prof has agreed to it, not too sure

I just spoke to Dirk directly and he has asked that his mail address not be put up on the open forum so please refrain from doing so. If you feel you want to give it to someone that you trust please do so via PM. Also this could become a sponsor issue so please guys do organize this food via PM.

Just to clear up, apparently the strike is only affecting the gauteng region and not the rest of the country. so @Good_Times if he can get the book to CPT there shouldn't be a problem...

@BBQ yes, but he then asked us to remove the email address, which I did. You never ever release personal email addresses or cell numbers on forums where any spammers and hackers.

 

Also spoke to Prof and he requested it be removed. i don't think @BBQ meant any harm in this but at least it sorted.

 

@BBQ Like @Wyvren says it was removed. I also had the same train of thought but then checked up on it and found it was deleted and as a MOD only we could see it.

@Ammar No harm done as it was dealt with speedily. @BBQ we all make mistakes and assumptions, as this is a sensitive subject we needed to take quick action (with a international phone call I mite add). Thanks to the member that reported it so quickly and diligently, much appreciated!

Well glad that you guys did remove it then cos I did see the Email address on that post (I will admit as a mistake) but I didnt make assumptions but yeah anyway.
we know at least our mods are doing the right things at the right time

@TankMaster. Well seeing as Amaar is in JHB and you are in Druban I think you should ask the prof to send you your own or PM @aquazulu he is in Durban and mite get you some from the Prof, if he is still on the forum I have not seen him around for some time.
