    Howzit,

    I have a problem,

2 days ago my 5kg still had some gas in the tank as the gauges still read about 30psi and this morning the tank was empty.

I have a solenoid on a timer (0800-1800), bubble counter with setting at 1bps, at that setting the tank should not empty so fast,

At this rate my 5kg tank needs refilling at least once a month, this is excessive use, as from what I've read some of your tanks lasts at least 3 times longer. I do have a 2nd 5kg tank as a standby.

    What am i doing wrong?

I checked for leaks, there isn't any. You would hear a faint hiss if there was any.
I have attached pix of the diy reactor and where its positioned in the tank

When I check for leaks, I mix some dishwashing liquid with water in a spray can and then spray it on the area in question (obviously not in your tank) and then check for any bubble formation as this will be an indication for leaking gas.
You must be extremely careful, as CO2 is extremely dangerous when inhaled and can be deadly.
