Power outage in roodepoort

    Have had no power in in weltervreden park , Constanta kloof area since 1:30 yesterday
    My UPS died at about 11 last night and when I left for work this morning at at 8 it was still down , any one know what s happening ?

    Heard on the news that it may be staff at eskom deliberately switching off the electricity due to strike action.

    How true its is, I am not sure.

    +1 Also heard this over the news, they have given the strikers ultimatum to get back to work today or face disciplinary action.

    Kensington has also been out since 7:00 Pm last night and Auckland park is also out.

    I have power at least but no water last night so no water change for me.

    Probably find some dude landed a truckload of generators and since we did not have our normal rolling power outages he needs to find a market to dump them - ah use that strike as a cover then create the market.

    Ok wait that is called entrepreneurship.

    Not sure why but cresta suburb seems OK - other parts of randburg not so much.
