Pothos plant?

hi, does anyone in the East Rand know where i can find pothos plant?

Went to Hackit and they didnt have, said that they will get stock in this week, but went to go look at the plant the guy mentioned, on google, and it was not pothos...

Want a fast growing plant to shove into my hob filter to chow nitrates.

 

ja i was reading about these plants. they're awesome. I am in CPT and cant find them anywhere

 

They're blacklisted in SA, you'll battle to find them in retailers, Your best bet is to find one in someone's home. I think I had them years ago as houseplants, didn't know about nitrates and the role they could play back then.

 

What other ultirnatives to pothos do we have?

Lots of plants will work, if you create the right environment for them, that's how aquaculture works. You'll need plenty of light to grow tomatoes indoors. The beauty of pothos is that's a very undemanding plant and you won't need to create a special environment for it.

I came across this site, caring for pothos, looks like you can buy this at any nursery but they did mention that the sap is toxic to cat and dogs, so don't think it will be great to fish if it does contaminate the water. http://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/pothos/pothos-plant-care.htm

 

No... that's a syngonium or arrow head plant

Pothos were sold at nurseries as a house plant not so long ago
