    Hi, i am just trying to find out why my post on the shrimp was moved? Is it because of legal issues of discussing indigenous crustaceans?
    Can anyone just inform me please? I have no intention of keeping any, in fact i dont even have a fish tank at all.

    I am fairly new to TASA so can someone please explain to me why i can not find the post?

    Yet they are invertebrates? No invertebrates are allowed to be discussed on TASA.
    @Mods, how do we join the BL thread?

    All i know is that i attempted to learn something about a new species ive never even heard of before. Sure i understand that BL species are not to be discussed in the sense of keeping in aquaria. Someone could have just informed me that they are black listed and i would have left it there.
    There was no reason to move the thread entirely? So my understanding is that once something is black listed we file it under off limits because knowledge of its existence is illegal for us common folk, am i correct?

    Do you know the secret handshake? :p Here I'll teach you (this is where I found it) Click on "my Profile" at the top of the page. In the left column you'll see "Permission Groups". Click there then "join" the blacklist group & then you'll be taken to a page where you have to agree to the Ts&Cs (ensure you read the entire list ;) ) & then when the countdown ends, click submit - that should work.

    Guys, please calm down. Moderators do have work to do, and we are all human. The thread was moved, by me, to the blacklist sub forum. I didn't have time to google, research and find out exactly what the shrimps were, but as far as I know, all shrimps are bl.

    I received pm form people asking why we letting bl discussion on shrimp happen in the main forum, so I just logged on and moved it. I left a redirect message so all could find it.

    To find blacklist subforum you have to join the group. Same place you find all the area groups. You will have to sign extra indemnity.

    Shrimp thread moved back based on Henk Hugo claiming they are not bl.

    @ Zoom,

    I sincerely apologize for my comment earlier, Jenny explained to me what happened. If, after all, it is found to be blacklisted then i have no problem if the thread is moved. I just wanted some sort of explanation. I kept being redirected to the forum rules page after i have read the rules and ticked the box - likely a pc software issue - and i assumed (like an idiot) that i have been prohibited from viewing the thread.

    My interest lies in protecting the species so if they are black listed for conservation reasons then that's that and i will pry no more. If we can verify that it is not BL i will be happy to discuss it further.

    Again, sorry about my little Hissy Fit :)

    @Zuraki

    Common courtesy would have been for an explanation to you by myself as to why it was moved, howeve as I explained time did not permit this for me. Instead I left a redirect message. Usually we do not leave the redirect message because it can clutter up and make the forum look very cluttered. I assumed you would have picked up based on where it was directed to that the topic was about bl species.

    I did not check at the time to see if it was a new member, or who the author of the thread was, I just moved it in haste.

    See we are back on track with the thread. Gonna close this one for now.
