@Jimmy - Thats Camalanus....just type it into the search function here - can be treated by using a product called Dovaworm - there was a few recent threads on it here on TASA...

I have added Sera Baktopur direct as per instructions in on the package insert. I don't really know if it's going to work. Will have to wait and see.

So the Baktopur did nothing to fight the Camallanus. Could not find any Dovaworm so looked for something else. Found and bought myself some Levamisole hydrochloride 99% (Sold as Virbac Prodose Red (in powder form)), found out I only needed about 50mg, and seemingly cured them of the Camallanus. Will dose them again in about 3-4 days and then a final treatment in about a week and a half.

If anyone is in need for Levamisole, please feel free to contact me, seeing that I have around 127950mg left over.

Great source of information on dosing of Levamisole and what it treats: Levamisole Hydrochloride Loaches Online

    Hope that this helps someone.

Oh and if one of the Admins can change the thread name to "Treating internal parasite: Camallanus" it would be appreciated.

Thank you for that. It's a very informative article, I've saved it for future reference.
