Poor Danio

    hey guys, turned the light on today and saw my danio battling
    to swim and had a huge belly with a red spot on it. is it good or bad?

    dropsy nah wont save it. if its constipaded bit of salt.

    As Ryno said, if its constipated there is s hope, but if its dropsy there is little hope.
    Best to put it in a quarantine tank and to dose salt,(I think 1teespoon per 3liters)

    epsom salt, not regular salt. Regular salt won't do anything.

    Is your fish still eating? If so, you can try feeding blanched, frozen peas. Remove the skins first. That will help if it is constipation. If you are worried I would suggest you fill in the disease questionnaire so we/you can see if there is anything that may have caused the problem to help you prevent a recurrence.
