Picked up this senegal from the lfs yesterday.
Is prob around 15cm, or slightly under.

It settled in quickly. Came to get a few pieces of fish when I fed the Stingrays last night.

This species seems a bit more active than a few of the other Polys. It swims around most of the time.
My ornate hides all the times.
And the lfs also had a few other interesting species of Poly, but they were hiding, so decided not to get one of those too

Nice looking poly. I'm considering getting one of these now, didn't like them so much before due to the lack of colour. Now everyone is saying they are the most outgoing I'll definitely need to think of a sen :)

I have kept 4 or 5 species of Poly over the years, and the sen is def the most outgoing and active.

I think this one is one of the new fancy colour forms.
It's not the browny/yellow that they usually are

I have seen a few like this in colour on another forum, it may just be acclimation stress or just one of the CB fish colour types, they can be quite light in colour. The light substrate may also be washing it out a little

It was this colour at the fish shop
I think it's one of the CB colour forms

I don't think there are precise colour forms, but I think it's def CB. I would like a WC if possible since I would like a del or retro so I need something that will rival the size to some degree. It's finding them that's the issue

There are a few precise colour forms: albino and platinum
And there is also a "short body" form. (not really my sort of thing)

The other Polys this lfs had were all wilds.
    Some really interesting species

I'm aware of the albino and platinum polys, although they are quite expensive in comparison. No suppliers here have had anything but albino for about a month now, it's getting annoying to find one

You should see what the vendors in the US get in, it's crazy.

I'm planning to get small, I can't afford big ones. Even small ones are a big investment for me

I have never been a poly fan but we sure fell in love with Cesar's one. Too cute when they come swimming towards you..

I'm a nut over ancient fish, I love them to bits.

I can imagine, although with the right care they can grow from 5 to 15cm in 6 months or so.

My biggest fish can't even eat an adult guppy easily so I'm safe there
