Well he will go to my custom tank, it takes roughly about 350lt
so a 10-20cm long plec should be fine. if he then grows to big for that tank I will put him in my 6foot.

but for now i need one in my custom tank.

Why don't you get plecos that stay smaller? Besides the fact that they are banned and on the black list, they grow too big for home aquaria... Why don't you get 2 -3 Bristlenose Ancistrus?

Besides the fact that the Bristlenose Ancistrus are so ugly I wouldn’t mind one and I didn’t know that they are band, they are so easy to get, why would they ban them?

All I need actually is the a Plecy to clean my tank, so I though I will put up a post asking if there might be someone out there that doesn’t want theirs anymore as I will take it of yours hands, as long as he is small enough to fit in a 350lt custom tank.

Ideally you shouldn't use Plecs to clean tanks - the real cleaning should be done by you, the aquarist. While plecs do browse on algae, they aren't vaccum cleaners, and should also be fed extra sinking foods as their staple diet.

Aren't plecs also huge waste creators???

If you wanting to get rid of algea problems, then you need to look at your parameters. Algae blooms for a reason...

Either too high or too low CO2
Too much Nitrates in the water
    Too much light
    Too little light

Altho I agree that a plec of Ancistrus will assist you in ridding of the algae... you need to establish what is causing the problem

Yes i do feed them sinking pellets as well as i treat them with a baby marrow or a cucomber so now and then but yes I had a little algae problem, which I manage to reduce quite a lot its just the little bit thats left that I want the plecy to sort out for me, other than that I know I should clean the tank, but Plec's are a huge help.

But no I wouldnt say that they are a waste creation, they where made for a reason, dont you think?

Trust me on this I had 5 Plecos in my 2m tank and there was more waste from them than any other fish I had I still have 1 left and I still have to do weekly water changes and poop scooping to get rid of all the waste it leaves. SO they are waste makers when they get big and are very lazy.
    Just my Opinion

The reason that plecos are banned is because they are an invasive species. If they get into the local water systems, they cause a lot of damage, they breed easily and they suffocate the local fish populations.

They do create a huge amount of waste. They are poop factories! Personally, I prefer the smaller kinds of plecos like Ancistrus and some of the other L numbers. They are far nicer than Plecos.

Good luck man. I hope you find what you're looking for.

Shame you're just to late i took two 15cm pleco's to the LPS last week. I can find out if they still have them if you're interested although it's a bit far to travel just for plecos.
