Plecostomus ID and value

    Hey guys and gals.

    Spotted this dude on the Gum and just want to confirm what he is exactly and how much he is worth.
    He is currently 9-10cm long.

    Common Plecostemus - Pterygoplichthys pardalis.... As for price? Hmmmnn... R30 to R50 ish if bought in an LFS....

    Thanks, @azurekoi.

    The guy wants R50, so ima see if I can negotiate.

    Any ideas how to differentiate males from females?
    Afaik, the males' heads are bumpy/horny and females' are more smooth/rounded.

    Needs to be much bigger than that for the sexual dimorphism to be easy to see.... Also remember that this guy will grow to 40cm +...and will need a tank bigger than a standard 4 footer....
