Pleco and Cory Food

Its that time of the month, that i need to go and buy my fish food.... so i ask this, what type of food do you feed your Pleco's and Cory's?:blink1:

as i think i need to try something else?:blink1::blink1:

Plz help me with this, as i need to buy some this weekend

For your plecos, try out some sliced cucumber or some de-shelled peas. The cories will pretty much appreciate any food that hits the bottom - but Tetra Prima is by far the best product for smaller bottom feeders, such as cories.

i need to buy a std food for the pleco's, as i give them the cucumber and peas. but they never chow it?

 

There are specific foods for plecs - I know that there are some foods called 'pleco logs', which are specifically designed for plecs. Tetra has sinking pellets and pleco wafers, which my plecs have always liked.

It's strange to hear that your plecs don't eat the veggies; mine used to go mad for them...

 

I found that my plecs enjoyed Tetra Tabimin and my corys LOVE Sera Viformo.

I find it quite strange..
Just a few weeks ago I received fish food samples to trial .
Amongst them is a food FOR Pleco and Cory types.
Would you even think of a better name for it?

BTW Sera range of Catfish chips is just so much more palatable(with alder and willow wood bark) to almost all the fish fed it, to the point that they almost ignore Tetra plecoMin

 

Know this isn't right on the topic but do bristle nose eat is as well? @Altum

 

I have many 100's of young Bristle Nose ancistrus chowing this food at the moment.

It's NUTS how they forage...and some other fish unexpectedly go MAD for this food too!
