Please Help me understand

Hello All

so ive been doing some research on different lighting methods and ive come across the PL-[FONT=Lucida Grande, Trebuchet MS, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]C and it looks quite cool ... has someone used this method before? if so could you give me some advice on price and where i could get it ... i want to use it for my planted tanks and for my emersed projects ( as i have 3 at the moment)
