Can anyone tell me what that is and why it was in my tank. Should I be worried will more be coming and how did it get there

Yup, damselfly nymph. It could be that you introduced it with plants that were grown outside. Or if you fed live mosquito larvae or daphnia, you could have scooped it by accident while it was still quite small. It is very improbable that the egg(s) would have been laid in an aquarium that is housed indoors. Unless you have fish smaller than what the nymph will eventually become, it is probably nothing to worry about.

 

The way you were shaking it around it looked like a damsel in distress
