    Hi

There is no "plant trade" forum sub thread...

I am looking for specific green background plants to take the place of Limnophila Sessiliflora. I am looking for 1 of the following, but I need at least 20 stems to cover the area:
    Myriophyllum mattogrossense (green)
    Limnophila aquatica

In addition to that I am looking for Rotala Wallichii and Hygrophila Difformis.

Anybody out there with the above? Either for sale or trade.

    Regards
    Lauré

Hi Laure, on Amatikulus web site [http://www.aquariumplants.co.za] they have a photo of H Difformis, but it looks different from what I see on the overseas sites, any opinion?

Reason I am asking is my lfs has some of what appears on their site, if that is what you are looking for maybe I can help you

Emmersed growth is totally different, it will quickly convert to the beautifull verigated form once immersed!

    Quote from the above website:

"The photos below show the plant when the leave have grown through the surface."

In other words, the pics on the site is emersed growth. If what your LFS has looks like that, then it probably is H. Difformis. Buy one pot and stick it under water. You will soon see submerged growth and then you can tell whether it in fact is H. Difformis.

Most plants you buy at LFS are actually grown emersed. Why? Sunlight in a shallow pool of water is cheap.
