    I probably should go and search myself, but time is a problem. Would someone please tell me what I bought. (Sure it is easy for someone with knowledge?)I just took in the LPS what they had, to get something in my tank.

    HPIM1068.jpg is three plants. Just look at the one in fore ground and the one behind it. The third is a separate attachment.

    Thanks in advance.

    @Henk Hugo

    Thanks for the link. I feel however that I still need an expert to ID them, as they look alike and it is difficult for a layman like me to properly ID them.

    As far as those two goes, I can not believe it! The LPS is selling them as Aquatics! I blame his supplier, as he himself is a reptile fundi and does this as an extra service on request. Are you talking about the one in the foreground in pic three? The lighter one. I must say it deteriorated very quickly and lost colour. (became pale) I thought it is because I do not do CO2.

    Both the plants you mention, came in the typical basket with 'cotton' to keep the roots intact.

    Yeap - remove pot - remove what ever growing medium they are in - flush the roots in a small bowl of tank water to clean all the muck from the LFS - now you can trim and plant as needed.

    hehe, its never going to end... Empty tank and level it. Take plants out of pots and re-scape! fun fun fun.... Thanks tannie in Potch.

    The fish is not going to like it either! Off to the 30lt you go! Then catch them there, destroy the layout and re-do that one too!

    And where do I store 90lt of water? Questions, questions...

    100% @Khalid - I wonder how many people actually have a QC tanks for plants ?

    I don't - and suspect this is why I get a "new" algae issue sometimes in a tank that was stable.

    exactly new plants and fish come with their own creepy crawlies.

    The best I can describe snail eggs are thick snot on the leaves. If you use your fingers and feel the leaves you will easily feel the "jelly".

    Another question. Is these two plants the same? To me it looks like Bacopa monnieri and Bacopa caroliniana? But I am not sure. Apart from size, the differance is very minimal.

    On the first pic they are next to each other. The 2nd pic is the one I showed earlier.

    @Henk Hugo

    That would be great! I am not ready yet, but you can time it for a few months. I will remind you and EFT you the courier costs.

    Thanks! At least then I know what I am getting and how to care for it. I am waiting for a book I ordered, but with all the info here it seems like I threw money in the water. I still want to read up on CO2 and all the advanced techniques.

    I ordered this:
