Wow, Slagter just innocently offered to be the link up here in Jhb and probably honestly forgot that we need someone in CT to do the shipping. I know that I forgot. Just reminding him of that fact probably would have been enough. Big G did bring it to our attention. Thanks for that. I guess that we got carried away with the prospect of obtaining great plants and forgot the details. Pity that tempers flared.

 

Jozi guys... let me introduce you to Dolphin. Dolphin, let me introduce you to the Jozi guys. I believe Dolphin is able to assist in importing a lot of "different" plants that we are all looking for??

Henk, good on you mate for opening up your avenues to the Capetonians... I think it is very noble of you to do so. To be completely honest, I did not think you would make the minimum 10k order, and seeing the order sitting where it was a few days ago was quite impressive.

 

As good as Dolphin is, these prices are incredibly good.

 

I would like to know what is still left over, as in what orders of 10 and 5 have been made and not filled, as I might want to make those up, assuming this is still going ahead.

I would like to know how the payment would work....

Firstly, i hope no one thinks that my temper is flaring?? I was just trying to point out the issue that you need to arrange if you want to get some plants up in Jo'burg! If anyone has taken offence to my comments, I apologise....

As for what is still short of hte minimum 20 bunches.... I have just had a quick look through, and this is what I believe is still short... I have not included anything Henk himself is ordering, or anyone who has contacted him outside of this thread, so I may not be acurate!?? Here goes (not in alphabetical order)......

Microsorium Pteropus Narrow - AP420 (x10 short)
Myrophylum Matogrossense Red (x10 short)
Myrophylum Matogrossense Green (x10 short)
Cabomba Piaunyensis (x10 short)
Ludwigia Cuba (x10 short)

Don't know if Henk wants to correct me on any??

And Sarf, can you clarify what your order is please? Just so we can see what is needed still??

Right - yes my temper is flaring....

Zoom if you go read back in the thread you will see that the supplier said the us$700 is flexi. we just need to get to like 500 or 600....

JHB folks - i am willing to ship to ONE person in JHB using Courier-IT over night. Nominate some one....

 

I did read that Henk! And I'm still eager to see if you hit that mark.

 

I feel responsible for pulling in the JHB guys in the hope that we can get a bunch of them onboard and get to the min order of 500/600 USD quite quickly. I did explain I am in PE and I am getting someone from CT to collect from Henk and ship to me. Any other PE folk interested? We can ship a single parcel and split freight costs and you can come collect from me. I expected the JHB folk to do the same, not any individual orders which Henk would be responsible for shipping. In any case, shipping is quite easy if somebody wants to take the resonsibility. Henk showed some compassion and is prepared to ship to one person in JHB. No come on JHB guys...somebody volunteer to receive the shipment and the rest of you can collect from him/her.

 

I would certainly order more if my friend paid me what he owes me, and I wasn't still paying for the Emergency C-Section my wife had!!

Anyhow, Henk can I drop my 5 Aromatica and add 10 x Ludwigia AP398 Ludwigia sp.(cuba) - Bundle Bundle 0.56 (R90)??

So then my order would look like this...

As Slagter said - Dolphin is good but he probably will not be able to beat your prices.
Slagter - is your offer still available to receive the shipment??

 

Irma - i think you guys are missing the plot - there is no "my prices" thats the cost, ie - cost + freight excluding duties, vat and clearing fee's... which we wont know till we get the bill and devide it per unit

Excluding duties, vat and clearing fees. Note that the cost may double or at least increase by maybe 50% after all that. So everybody must budget for these additional amounts to be added to their orders.

I dont wish to comment on the prices contained in this thread but I will note that the prices listed are FoB - that is before shipping, handling, packing and local customs/clearing costs which must all be added to the original unit price to give a nett landed cost.
