OK then only add the Cuba to my existing Aromatica order. I hope somebody else ordered Cuba too, otherwise I may have to get a whole box of 20! I guess 4 stems per bundle so that means 80 stems? LOL...
Any takers on Cuba? At that low price I don't mind paying but I don't wanna waste plants.

So I have 10 x Aromatica and 10x Cuba for now. I don't think Aromatica will be an issue as it seems most people are ordering that.

 

i am taking cuba as well as aromatica - good luck to those without HIGH lighting and a carbon source for the aromatica....

Is there seriously no way to get some of these plants off to Joburg? If a few club together to get the numbers up and you send them off to 1 person, it will make it a lot less of a mission.

 

I have arranged with Henk to get my plants to Prof Dirk. I don't think Henk wants to get involved in logistical matters. Luckily my brother stays in CT and he can collect the plants from Henk and take them to Prof Dirk. I need to order some food from him, so I am hoping he can send the plants with the food order. If not, my brother can ship them to me.

Perhaps you know somebody in CT who is prepared to collect from Henk and ship to JHB? Surely you can arrange something like this. If the JHB guys get on board and have a way to collect from Henk and ship to JHB we will make up the minimum order numbers quickly.

I think a few JHB people will buy if one of you arrange collection from Henk and then have it shipped in a single parcel to JHB, from where you can all collect.

 

Any Jhb people offering to do this?? I unfortunately cannot do so.

 

I don't mind if it gets shipped to me, but we will need at least 5 folks to get involved...

I just want HC really, and lots of it.

I'm hoping that there are enough Jhb people to justify an order. I'll probably order that plant as well.

 

Hang on a minute, Its not a matter of how many of you there are other than the postage costs being split?? Is it not more an issue of getting some one in Cape Town to pick up all your plants from Henk, and then send them through to you??

Don't want to put a dampner on your party, but just thought you may be getting the wrong end of the stick?? Henk said he will not ship up country, and will only order for Cape Town. I was suggesting that maybe you could ask some one in Cape Town to Pick up and ship up to you, by your own arrangement. That way Henk doesn't need to be involoved in these complications.

I would have volunteered but really don't have the time to sort it all at the mo, plus I don't really know how to do it!! Don't want to be responsible for killing R3000 or so's worth of plants!!

at the rate this thread is going i am about to kill the whole things and just import 30 plants from the USA at a cost of R5000 as i have the permits and i can do so.

You lot always bitch and moan on the forum you cant find nice plants - well here is the chance and you cant even arrange it at bloody COST PRICE!!!!!

I am willing to risk 10K of my own cash to bring it in...

Was just wondering Henk, with everyone running around trying to arrange shipping etc.
I am not fimiliar with the logistics behind importing plants.
Good of you trying to help everybody,now they just need to help themselves.

 

Well, I'm certain that there are plenty of okes up in Joburg who would LOVE to get in on this order, but it's only for Capetonians, as so bluntly pointed out.
