And this is why nano's are so difficult ... one looks for the smallest detail to improve the space being used.

Looks good - the one thing as I scrolled down, when I saw the flat side of the rock, my mind was going oohhh nice slap that against the glass on the left then it will look like the rock is protruding out of the tank's side.

Your last pic is a bit dark to see if how / if you are using that flat edge.

Keep them pics coming as the tank develops.

Looking good Cliffy. I think you can lose the heater for now. That should give you some more space.

Some nice pieces of hardscape you have put together there...interested to see how this looks once all the final pieces are in place...as Broder said with our heat in EL at the moment can probably do without the heater if its limiting space...even my tank at home seems to be running warmer than normal due to the weather.

A nice back ground will also help filling out the tank a bit.

Nice cliffy :) Agree regarding the heater and background.
Love that the rock and substrate are similar, looks very natural.

I can't remove heater as tank water stays very low 14 deg and I don't like it when my plants turn to mush and don't know if its true that. Shrimp breed @20 degrees

Hi @cliffy , I find best way to breed shrimp is by doing regular water changes, my tanks at 24 degrees more or less and around water changes goes down to about 22 degrees, do a water change every 3 - 4 days and they will breed like crazy, since its a small tank why not hide your heater with some plants growing infront?
