    Hi.

Let’s see who would be interested in this. This could be a nice little December Project.

You have 1 month to setup a low tech planted Nano tank. (No C02)
You are only allowed to use x number of plants. Still to think of the amount at this moment I’m thinking of 3-5.
Max size of the tank is 1 foot.
Need to post you progression pics with a date stamp. Minimum of 5 pics.

Prize : Bragging Rights and a Planted Shrimp tank you just setup yourself.

    Later Derik.

Oic, but in a month, the tank will not grow in, especially with low tech..

Any hardscape. Just a limit on the plants.
Dont want to over complicate it for bigenners with lots of plants. Then for long time planted tank keepers just to through a buch of trimming in and win. If that makes sense

A competition like this got me into aquascaping a few years ago. Sean (mr ADA) launched a comp just like this with big prizes. This takes a lot of dedication but great results can be achieved.

    this was my initial setup:

    then a few weeks later:

then a rescape and final layout:

this is all grown with a CFL light and PFS for substrate and then added liquid ferts.

    so it can be done
