So i have an idea to grow emersive plants

I want to add a grid (the same they use for false floor in vivariums) to the backside where the hob is. How would i go about sticking it to the glass.
I was either thinking marine silicone or suction cups (how safe is this?).

    Ahhhhhh!

Still looking for the grid. Buildit and cashbuild doesnt have. Will look in the week by builder warehouse.

In other news got some growth on anubias and java fern. Should have other lighting soon and will pick up my glass and rails to prevent water evaporation.

Oh and i added oscomote to the sand. What a speedy process try to do it with the ice cubes..

Looking at the pictures is everything on track?

Decide against the use of rails and just place the glass on top of the tank

You may want to think of changing your substrate at some stage if you're planning on going with plants that require their roots planted in the ground, or use root tablets.

The Vallisneria in the left rear corner will soon start taking over.
I got some from @Christiaan Duvenage a bit more than a month ago, and it is starting to really take over the tank.
    It grows incredibly quickly.

Mine also have runners after 2 or 3 weeks in the tank. I will be cutting the runners so that it doesn't take over the whol back side. Only want it on the left.

    Got oscomote tabs in
