    Does any body know the name of this plant. The LFS just had potted plant.

    I will take a stab.

    Some sort of Alternanthera ficoidea / Alternanthera bettzickiana ? Reafer can you also add a picture of yours? A top shot, so that we can clearly see the leaf shape.

    Are you sure it is an aquatic plant - maybe it belongs in a terrarium ...

    best is to go look at your local nusery - ask them to show you their Alternanthera and you will most prob find your plant there...
