Plant ID Please!

    Hi

    I know jack about plants. Could you please help ID these. I dont know if they are ture aquatic or not. Your help would be appreciated. Not the best of pics though.

    wow im stumped!!

    1st pic is not a true aquatic they sell it by my lfs as purple dragon hahaha.. it likes its feet wet however so great paludarium plant but will rot under water.

    2nd pic could be bacopa moneri..

    4th picture looks like Lizard's Tail, which isn't too fond of high temperatures - 24 degrees max and they grow better when only partly submerged.
    2nd does look like bacopa monnieri which if cared for will creep over the sides of the tank. Very nice to have

    i dont think any bacopa species "creep" maybe you thinking of hydrocotyle :cheesy:

    Oddly I saw it in a pretty thick book - perhaps they had their labeling wrong. I remember wanting to get some for my 4ft but I think I'll leave it.

    The second one look like Bocopa Monieri, like I also have.

    First is Hemigraphis, which is not a true aquatic
    2nd is Bacopa
    3rd is unclear
    4th is not Saururus, I would put my money on something like Ludwigia repens, that has been grown emersed.

    Also, I think what @Moya means with 'creeping' out the tank, is the bacopa growing out the water surface, hanging over the edges of the tank. Mine have done this, and it looks quite beautiful.
