Plakat and crowntail betta. Latest additions

Well i have been hit with MTS of late and decided to setup 2x1ft nano tanks for betas as opposed to a 4ft. So i decided to give the veiltail a miss and go for something a little different and i was not dissapointed. I picked up these 2 a few days ago a beautiful deep red crowntail and a white body with red fins plakat(a feisty guy). Both are already eating bloodworms from my finger and loving their new homes. Here are a few pictures sorry some of the crowntail pics are out of focus he was quiet hard to photograph. Thanks to Kel-sol(Kelly) these are now my new favourite fish. I will attempt to teach them a few tricks they both already eat from my finger and leap out the water to get their food from my finger i have seen you can teach them to swim through hoops so that will be next.

 

Hi Snyper very nice looking betta there! Love your plakat, and glad to see that one can at last buy one in a normal LPS.

P.s do not feed your betta blood worms more than once a week. They are absolutely mad about them but its not a food source for them.

 

damn the betta craze and damn you ! those are stunning .
think I need to get in on this craze , my first betta has to be a half moon !
