Pet Stop future imports - confusion

Hi guys

I need to clarify a lot of confusion out there at present regarding possible imports by Pet Stop!

I am looking into every possible supplier I can get access to, even suppliers recommended by TASA members. BUT!!!!!!!!

The past few days I got really confusing phone calls, email and PM's regarding ullman in czech Even some orders already!!!
Apparently MASA members are sending this price-list around saying that I am going to import from them. Although their price list is incredible and worth a look, I do not see myself importing from them yet.

Factors like his integrity regarding:

1. Delivery on time
2. Delivery of actual stock ordered
3. Full delivery of paid order
4. Delivery of healthy stock
5. Good packing record - DOA's
6. His actual practice regarding his claims
7. ETC.

All need to be investigated before I will even begin to think of placing an order. I do not intend to loose money due to a hasty decision! The best way to do this is to find the exporters customers and get their feedback.

So I have emailed other importers that might have used them to find out what they know or someone they know that have dealt with them. So for TASA members to look at the list and making up wishlist's or worse placing an order is VERY PREMATURE.

The temporary feedback do not seem 100% positive, so the possibility do exist that I might not import from them, I need more feedback though

But do not dis-pare I am also looking at 15 other possible suppliers (started with 24) and in due course would eliminate the worst and order from the best.

Bottom line do not believe everything you hear and IF I need TASA members feedback I would not do it via PM or email, that would be like a clandestine operation and not my style since 1991 when I resigned. If I need the input from TASA, I WOULD POST ON THE FORUM for all to give there 2C.

This is not to fight, but to make sure hobbyists hopes and dreams do not end up in ashes AND my name / reputation tarnished. As all of you that know me know, this is more important to me than money.

Lets wait and see what pans out PLEASE!

PS. One guy said that I already made a wishlist. YES, I did make a wishlist, just to see if I could fill 5 boxes and it look more like 10 boxes, but that was the 1st exercise to see if I am at all interested. Now the hard work begin.

 

No, it is a TASA member that is sending the list around. I will PM you as to who it is.

I do not want to blame / shame I just need everyone to be clear about the facts.

 

My understanding of that list was they we should say what we would LIKE to get and that was the list that we could look at... so I think it is a case of broken telephone here... I also did not act on this list as I figured what ever you (Moolis) brings in would be worth it...
