Think for the light I am going to try and get away with a simple 10 watt led bulb from builders.

Might just be enough spread in the light.

Now for filtration .. maybe just go with internal for now.

Agree - I think the light will be OK - only issues it is borrowed from the boyu ;- )... so went driving around to find a more - after a long search - 6 in stock nothing on the shelf the guys at builders found it in a trolley that they had not yet unpacked.

Did give me chance to go past aqua emprire - and get another small HOB ... BTW they still have some of these small tanks - almost got one - again, but I did resit.

BTW that light on the right, it is a 4000k 15 LED luceco ... have not had much luck with the 10W version - hope the 15W will work on BlackJack.

Hahahaha MTS is bad. Now I want to build another tank. But I got to get my stuff sorted first - need cabinets build for all 3 of my tanks and then my lighting sorted out as well. And save up for a box of dragon rock which is not going to come cheap at all.

In overall, your tank is looking good. What HOB did you get? I might consider getting a small one for another build in the near future. I also need to get a bigger HOB for the 70cm as well - the hailea pump should only be reserved for polishing water when I do maintenance and if I don't use it, then I'll build a small portable pond with a waterfall outside.

My wife will never know the true price I pay for some of my equipment or fishes. I just told the guys at Pet Stop to give her a fair price if she returns it to them when I'm not there.

Ferdie, where did you buy this tank? Do they have it in 120 liter?

10.3 - or C for short ... will probably end up being something like.

    upload_2017-7-29_17-24-30.png

But I would really like it to be something like this, but this is 5.5 kg of rock.

    upload_2017-7-29_17-25-53.png

And I would want it to be freestanding.

    Still playing ...

Yeah this is a harder puzzle to solve ... need to make it balanced and secure so that nothing touches any of the sides initially.

Let me put my thinking cap on.

Correct, I can make them stick, that does not seem to be a problem.

These tanks are so thin .. that the height cuts out the light and then no place to grow anything .. you have just a rockery.

I think this is it ..
