I'm one of them. When I'm not feeling to lazy I ride my bicycle to about 3 different local LPSs. I stopped at the first one and Bought myself 3 packs of frozen bloodworm's, that should last me a while. When coming back home I was dead tired put my bag down and had a shower . About 3 days later I woke up to a really bad smell in my room. First I thought it was my tank but then I saw my cats and dogs scratching at my bag I use when I'm riding my bicycle. Then it hit me I forgot to take out the bloodworms. It was one of the worst smells if ever smelled. I've washed the wag but still the smell won't go away. anyone else have similar stories about their own stupidity.

yeah, just last night, i was cleaning my HOB filter, i syphoned out about 3litres of water just to clean the filter, after cleaning the filter, i thought to myself, i will put this filter on and then get rid of the water, after putting the filter on, i turned to leave the room to wash my hands, and just then i kicked the bucket, 3 litres of filthy water on my room floor, was not a pretty sight or smell, it took me about 30minutes to clean it up, but the smell remains...thank god i don't have carpet in my room....

Why would you clean your equipment in your room?

this was at around 11:30pm last night, the house was on lock down, everyone had already gone to bed, if i had to go to the garage then i would've woken up probably everyone in the house and that wouldn't be fair, the bathroom is small to take my equipment in there and clean, my room is BIG dude, i have an entire lounge suite, wardrobes, coffee table, flat screen, tv stands, corner stands, fridge, my 5ft fish tank and my bed, theres enough space in my room to clean my equipment...thats why i cleaned it in there..

Sometimes when I am adding a new piece of driftwood to a tank I forget to siphon out some water first.

Well, you can get confused if you have more than 10 tubes running in and out of your tank.my poor plugs were fried that day, everything works though.

My tank in my room is under the window so when i do water changes i get the hose thru the window and fill it up that way. I tried to let the hose just lay on the side of the tank while the water was runing... not very smart as my pc is 2 feet from my tank and the runing hose... needles to say the hose slipd out when i turnd around and soaked my pc..... luckely no damage...
