Parrot Fish to big for tank

Hi Guys,

Im new to your forum.
I got a tank from a friend with a Parrot Fish, 'LG eater' and a couple of other fishes.

The parrot how ever is way to big for the tank and this is causing other issues.



Can one sell these fishes or what is the way forward?
Im not keen at getting a new tank, firat want to find my feet with this small tank.

water change is key just use aprime or safe to de chlorine it.
theres a space here on the form ypu can sell it or on olx . or just go and give it to your lfs

 

Ask your petshop if they won't swop it for smaller fish, they cab sell the bigger ones for more anyway.

 

Already tried, no one is interested in buying or swapping

Sell all your big fish and then offer the ones you can't sell for free with the fish the buyer is interested in.

If it comes to a point where the fish suffers because of the small tank size then it might be better to euthanize it.(that clown loach at the back gets bigger then the parrot)

If in the future you decide to buy your own fish and tank separately,buy the appropriate sized tank for an adult fish to be permanently housed.
