    I seem to remember someone a few months ago asking about Madagascan Cichlids.

    Went to my lfs, and they had some of these

    They were £12, which isn't too bad.

    @Hawk,
    Yup, it does look that way :nuts:

    The adults are spectacular though. I would get one, but don't think it would fit in with the rest of my fish.

    They are quite aggro towards their own kind,I have 3 in a tank and the largest one seems to bully the other two.....theres no physical damage to the other 2 thus far.largest one approx 110mm and smallest 90mm or so.

    the colour from black with pearly spots fades to an olive/brownish as it decides.I currently have them with 2 flag (festivum) cichlids(120mm)(((pls dont pull me over coals over two continents stocking)))the two flags stand their ground and are not intimidated((I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE TRY THIS,WHAT WORKS FOR ONE MAY NOT WORK FOR ANOTHER,AND IT AINT GOOD PRACTICE)) by the pollenis
