Painting a fish room

    Hi guys! The back of the counter in my fishroom has been bothering me for ages. I desperately want to paint the ugly wooden board the same colour as the walls, but don't want to risk exposing the fish to paint fumes. How do I go about it safely?

    just makesure that no paint gets into ur tank.. ive painted near my tanks b4 with no problem.. maybe use a plastic sheet covering just incase?

    Hmmnn... lotsa ventilation + fans blowing air outside... I covered the tanks in a room that was being painted once with cling film + put fresh carbon in all my filters... Didnt lose a fish....G'luck!!!

    also, maybe if u have an airpump, stop using that for a while till u feel the fumes have left.. else it may be pumping the fumes directly into ur tank..
