    Homaloptera smithi or H.tweediei.

    Commonly referred to Lizard or Gecko Loach. Needs a Hillstream type setup. Hard to feed too.

    +1 Thanks Razer.

    I am sure you are the guy that probably knows these fish the best

    Actually it's Azurekoi. He taught me most of these fish. But I've done a lot of reading on them. It's so hard to source the Hillstream fish.

    @Razer2007:
    A very cool fish, but I cant care for it. I wanted an otto, the otto wasn't in the bag when I got home. when I went back two days later the last remaining otto was ill looking and they gave me this fish instead. I don't have the right swtup to keep him happy. If anyone wants him and can care for him better than I can, please feel free to contact me and we can work something out.

    I would have taken it if you ware down here. :(
    I'll contact someone who *might* be interested, but not sure.

    Did they give you the fish "because it eats algae"? It is a carnivore . Needs worms and stuff. Not algae eater at all.

    Sorry, @manicmonkey, I thought it was @Zebra Plecostamus who posted that. :embarrest:

    The other guy won't be able to go to Sandton.
    I hope it gets a good home.

    @Razer2007: thought you were confused! HAHAHA. @manicmonkey will take him, sounds like he has a good setup for him. i would love to keep him,coz he is so amazing to watch...but he will starve with my boisterous torpedo barbs and ever hungry danios. I you love it let it go they say. Funny how you can get so attached to a fish in two days... :)

    Haha. Yes. Rather let it be in a suitable setup.
